CAUSES OF MAGNETIC COUPLING DEGAUSSINGCRUITING

Magnetic coupling is a relatively new type of coupling, and degaussing is a relatively easy cause of damage. Once degaussing occurs, many people may be helpless, which may cause a lot of losses to work and production.

Too high temperature and dry running of the magnetic coupler are the direct factors causing degaussing. If the temperature is too high, there are many reasons. During the operation, the flow rate is too small for a long time or the outlet valve is closed for too long, which will cause the temperature of the medium inside the pump to increase, the lubrication of the pump bearings will also deteriorate, and the temperature will be higher. The shaft sleeve will also be damaged over time.

Other reasons for degaussing:
1. Dirt will block the inner cooling/lubricating pipe, which will cause the temperature of the inner and outer magnetic cylinders to rise rapidly, and there is a possibility of loss of magnetism;

2. Cleanliness is not paid attention to during maintenance, and iron filings are adsorbed on the inner magnet, causing the isolation sleeve to wear out;

3. The axial gap between the inner rotor and the spacer sleeve is too small, causing friction and loss of magnetism.

4. The thrust bearing is worn out, causing friction between the inner rotor and the isolation sleeve

The magnetic pump cannot run for a long time under certain working conditions, such as evacuation, cavitation, high temperature, etc. Therefore, we need to pay attention to avoid all situations where the pump is idling and the temperature is too high.
